An 8 night safari exploring the highlights of Namibia
Your 9 day itinerary will start at Windhoek Airport, with a scheduled flight to Kulala Desert Lodge in the Sossusvlei Area. A hot air balloon ride and a hike up Dune 45 are 2 of the activities on offer here. After 3 nights , you will fly to Swakopmund where you will spend 2 nights at the Strand Hotel. This destination is a hive of activity and you will have a chance to cruise the sea and explore the dunes and surrounds. On day 6 of your trip you will catch a connecting flight to Ongava Tented Camp on the border of the Etosha Pan to witness some of the most incredible pan wildlife sightings in the Etosha Game Reserve. After 2 nights here you will spend your last night at the Olive Exclusive Hotel where you will relax in style and comfort as you take in the last of the African sunsets.

Day 1 – 4: Kulala Desert Lodge
This awe-inspiring destination is possibly Namibia’s premier attraction, with its unique dunes rising to almost 400 metres, some of the highest in the world. These iconic dunes come alive in morning and evening light and draw photography enthusiasts from around the globe. Sossusvlei is home to a variety of desert wildlife including oryx, springbok, ostrich and reptiles. You can climb ‘Big Daddy’, one of Sossusvlei’s tallest dunes; explore Deadvlei, a white, salt, claypan dotted with ancient trees; or for the more extravagant, scenic flights and hot air ballooning are on offer.
Day 4: Strand hotel, Swakopmund
Swakopmund is known for its wide-open avenues, colonial architecture, and its surrounding otherworldly desert terrain. Founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more German than Germany. Now a seaside resort town, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has plenty to keep you happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laid-back atmosphere and cool sea breeze make it a very popular Namibian destination. Day 5 – 7: Ongava Tented Camp
Ongava Tented Camp is situated in the Ongava Game Reserve which shares the southern boundary with Etosha National Park, the prolific 30 000-hectare private Ongava Game Reserve and is considered one of the top private game reserves in the region, enjoying global recognition for exceptional conservation, groundbreaking research and exciting safari experiences. The landscape is characterised by vast open plains dotted with salt plans and abundant wildlife. You can easily access Etosha through Andersson’s Gate in the south. Known for its luxury lodges made out of natural materials Ongava is a popular destination for those looking to immerse themselves in nature. Day 7 – 8: Olive Exclusive Hotel
